2023/24 Season Ticket FAQ’s

How long do I have to purchase my reserved seat?

Supporters’ seats from the 2022/23 season are currently reserved to buy.

Fans wishing to keep their seat on for the new season have until 5pm on Tuesday 20th June 2023 to purchase their reserved seat, after which time they will be released for General Sale.

Any seats which are released will go on General Sale to the public at 9am on Wednesday 21st June 2023.

Do I need to take any action now to ensure that my seat isn’t put up for general sale?

Yes and No.

If you purchased your 2022/23 Season Ticket using our Direct Debit scheme, then you will have been enrolled onto our 'auto-renewal' scheme, meaning that your seat will be purchased for the 2023/24 campaign, subject to the payments being kept up to date for the 2022/23 season.

If you paid for your 2022/23 Season Ticket up-front, then you will need to contact us to purchase your seat once again for the 2023/24 campaign before the General Sale deadline - detailed above.

How can I spend the funds currently in my Millers Wallet?

Money currently in your Millers Wallet will be used towards the cost of the renewal of your 2023/24 Season Ticket.

Supporters who are on the auto-renewal scheme will automatically have their funds in their Millers Wallets taken when the renewal is processed.

For clarity, not all supporters will have any funds remaining in their Millers Wallets.

I don’t want to renew my season ticket for next season and I’m worried that my account has the ‘auto renewal’ option selected, what should I do?

We understand that there may be a number of supporters may not wish to commit to purchasing a Season Ticket for the new campaign.

To check whether you are opted in to our ‘auto-renewal’ scheme, either log in to your online account and check your purchase history for a 2023/24 Season Ticket or email supporterservices@rotherhamunited.net and a member of our team will get back to you.

If you would prefer not to renew with us, please email supporterservices@rotherhamunited.net expressing your desire to cancel ahead of the 2023/24 season.

I like to pay for my Season Ticket by Direct Debit, when will the first payment be taken?

The first payment for the 2023/24 Season Tickets will be taken on 1st June 2023.

As per previous seasons, payments will be taken until 1st March 2024.

The first payment may differ from subsequent instalments, depending on the time of purchase.

I have sent an email to Supporter Services but not heard anything back. Will I be getting a reply?

Definitely. Our Supporter Services team are usually great at coming back to fans, but are always understandably inundated with queries and people in the shop following the Season Ticket sales launch.

We politely ask that you allow them a little longer than usual to come back to you, but rest assured, they're doing their best to work through the emails.

I have received my auto-renewal letter in the post and there are two amounts displayed on the letter. One shows the total cost of my 2023/24 Season Ticket and the other shows an amount to Direct Debit. What does this mean?

The first of those numbers (the greater) is the amount that your 2023/24 Season Ticket will cost in total.

The latter is the amount of the total that will be spread across your monthly payments as part of your Direct Debit.

The reason that the second number is lower is because you will have had credits applied to the full total as part of your Millers Wallet.

It looks like I've sorted my renewal/new Season Ticket, when can I collect my physical Season Ticket Card?

As was publicised ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, your physical Season Ticket Cards are here to stay!

Unless a supporters has moved into a new age bracket, has moved seats within the stadium or other circumstances have changed - in which instance a new card will be issued.

Having updated our turnstile system a couple of seasons ago, supporters will now keep their Season Ticket Cards indefinitely, with each new season being 'loaded' onto them for use in the following campaign.

With that in mind, supporters are asked to keep hold of their Season Ticket Cards and NOT to throw them away at the end of a season.

In the event that a supporter need a new card issuing, they will need to contact the Red and White Shop once the club has publicised the need to do so on our official website.

Those fans who are either moving seat or age category as above, will have new Season Ticket Cards printed which will be available for collection at some point in July. Again, the club will make it clear on the website when they are ready to be picked up.

I'm buying my Season Ticket online and all of the prices are showing as 'Adult' but I want to buy a child/senior ticket, what should I do?

Don't worry. Please select your required tickets as per the online process and add them to your basket.

Once in the basket, you will be able to assign the supporters to the relevant tickets. At this point, the price should be amended to reflect the supporters who you are buying for.

I want to renew my Season Ticket but I'm ready for a change of seat from the one I had in the 2022/23 season, is that possible?

Yes. If purchasing online you will need to log in and select 'new season tickets'.

There, you will be presented with an image of the ground plan and you will need to select the relevant block and seat that you require.

If your Season Ticket has 'auto-renewed' you will be unable to do this online and will need to contact the Red and White Shop.

Please note, that at this stage only seats which have not been sold or have an existing reservation on will be available for you to purchase.

Further seats will become available when the club releases them for General Sale. This will be announced in due course.

Should I be aware of any potential changes if a pandemic or similar affects my ability to attend matches at AESSEAL New York Stadium?

Of course, we have navigated through the worst of the Coronavirus pandemic, but are aware that should that change, restrictions could affect whether supporters are able to come to games.

The Club has protocols in place which will be communicated with supporters should there be a change in circumstances.
