Rotherham United goalkeeper Viktor Johansson has secured his second award of the day, having been voted as the Players’ Player of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign, sponsored by The Fire House Group.
This highly coveted award sees players from Rotherham United’s first team select their standout performer for the campaign, with Johansson claiming a considerable percentage of the votes, despite competition from the likes of Hakeem Odoffin and Seb Revan.
Having been an instrumental figure for the Millers throughout the 2022/23 season, the Swedish stopper continued his form into the 2023/24 campaign, making an array of outstanding saves which saw him keep five clean sheets.
This is the third time that Johansson has got his hands on this prize, having also been voted Players’ Player of the Season in his maiden campaign for the club in 2020/21.
